Design by Resident, Yangji-ri Project
In Yangji-ri migratory bird village in Cheorwon, the representative winter habitat of migratory birds near DMZ (demilitarized zone) in Korea, action seoul worked on a new village-branding where the residents played important roles cooperating with national experts in architecture, landscaping, ecology, local community, education, and brand management. For unique village-branding, action seoul triggered the local people’s voluntary participation so that their meaningful ideas and activities could be reflected on the output.
